A Compsci Capstone

For a computer science game final (a version of Go) I developed character designs and a short opening animation. The game’s theme centered around magic and alchemy, and featured two rivals seeking to be a master wizard’s apprentice, as well as an ominous stranger. All four of these characters were playable. There were also three golem characters who represented AI players at Easy, Medium, and Hard levels of difficulty.

The opening (right) was limited to less than fifteen seconds to convey the narrative-- gathering all of the characters to the master wizard’s workshop. It was storyboarded and animated within a two-day work session.
